Successful Implant dentistry is the result of a team effort. The best outcome is realized when each member of an implant team coordinates his/her efforts with other members. This approach is being applied to the practice of implant dentistry through the 3i Synergy Training Program™.
Dr. Vladimir Polyakov is hosting a Mini Residency in collaboration with 3i Dental Implants and Re-Creations Laboratory.

Synergy Training Program - A Mini Residency In Restorative Implant Dentistry
Dear Colleagues,
Dental Implants have become an integral part of mainstream dentistry. Implant dentistry has changed the way we now approach treatment planning and has given us the opportunity to provide more options for our patients.
I am organizing a network of restorative dentists who are interested in furthering their education in implant dentistry and incorporating implants into their practices. As part of my commitment to the success of our network, I have enlisted the support of Biomet 3i through the 3i Synergy Training Program™.
In this program, you and I will have the opportunity to fully develop our unique team approach by co-selecting cases and following them to completion. We will have a restorative dentist and laboratory technician experienced in implant prosthodontics as mentors, providing us with instruction and guidance throughout the program. Tho make this program even more beneficial, we will provide each participant with the support materials, including a torque indicator kit, and selected literature, including patient education materials.
Prior STP program graduates comment how the program enhanced their confidence in restoring and treatment planning implant cases resulting in higher case acceptance. Additionally, the hands-on education staff gained when working on STP program cases created contagious enthusiasm and the practice gained a fresh, exciting environment.

Curtis E. Jansen, DDS
Dr. Jansen earned his dental degree and completed his prosthodontic training at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He is both a former full time teacher and Director of Implant Dentistry at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration and the European Academy of Osseointegration. Dr Jansen is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration and a Fellow of the American College of Dentists. He maintains a private practice, which includes a dental laboratory, limited to prosthodontics and implant dentistry, in Monterey, California.
Study Club 2008 - 2009
Dear Friends and Colleagues:
As summer quickly winds down, it is time to get ready for our 2008/2009 study club. We planned exciting and stimulating programs for doctors and staff members.
We will start in September with CPR training for both doctors, and office staff. In October, we will welcome back Dr. John Ruel, our speaker from last year implant study club. Dr. Ruel will present advanced topics in restorative implant dentistry. n November, Dr. Polyakov will lecture on his favorite implant subject: “Immediate Implant Placement”. In December Ms. Deborah Allen from Health Horizons will speak on OSHA compliance and bloodbourne pathogens. In January, we were lucky to secure Ms. Cynthia Bollinger, founder and director of Institute for Dental Implant Awareness. Ms. Bollinger is also an expert in the field of implant marketing and patient education. We will conclude our 2008/2009 curriculum in March with a lecture by Dr. Curtis Jensen, a world renowned educator and prosthodontist from Northern California.
Last year we quickly filled all spots in our study club, so please reserve your spot early by faxing attached reservation form to (310) 772-0600. As always we will provide CE units for all participants. Most of the lectures will take place at the Intercontinental Hotel in Century City.
